Ephemera and oddities of the visual kind

This is a place to post all those random images I come across in my daily trawling of the internet, the ones that make me stop and look closer for a moment.

The only thing common to them is that they have something about them that intrigues, interests or moves me in some way. Inevitably, over time some themes will start to emerge, and I guess I'm also interested in seeing what these may be.

Although so far all the images posted have been 'black and white', there is no real significance to this aside from a vague need to provide some limits to what I post; in fact, the variations of tones and colours in the images make the description 'black and white' quite erroneous, which appeals to me :)
